Teaching has been one of my favorite aspects of being a PhD student at a public university. Having been a student at public institutions from 1-12th grade and for my BS and PhD, I deeply value the mission of the public institution to provide education to its community. I have been happy to spend a majority of my PhD teaching in my role as a Teaching Fellow at UCLA.
